Even complicated and confusing topics will be easily developed and covered if you request our help writing an essay. Place an order today!

Provide a bullet point list (perhaps 4 to 6 items) of the key point(s) and/or the key learning(s) from each chapter of the book.  Each book already has chapter summaries either in the book or available online, so don’t repeat those summaries, and don’t try to summarize everything in the chapter.  Rather, focus on your personal key takeaways from the chapter.

One of your bullet points must include a specific quote or a specific passage from the chapter, followed by a brief statement of why you found that quote or passage so interesting or impactful.  Each chapter analysis section should be formatted as shown in the example below.

Chapter 4 (You don’t need to list the title of the chapter)

  • Do not write using a passive voice, and avoid general statements.  Writing something such as “This chapter discussed how leaders can influence people” lacks detail and should not be included.
  • Write using an active voice, and be specific.  Writing something such as “Leaders need to provide proper incentives, financial or otherwise, that are tailored to individual goals to motivate people and drive behavior.  Providing a work environment with autonomy and purpose is sufficient motivation for self-motivated people” is a more appropriate way to present your observation.
  • (p 136) The direct quote or passage needs to start with the page number in parenthesis as was done for this bullet point, followed by the quote in quotation marks.  If the quote is a sentence or two then enter the whole quote.  If it is a longer passage then provide the first sentence, and part of the second sentence followed by three dots …
  • Discuss why the quote or passage was so interesting to you.  Again, these personal reflections do not require that you agree with what you read.
